Privacy Policy

We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to run Droidly, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Who We Are
Droidly ("we", "us", "our") is an Android interview preparation platform accessible at droidly.io. For any privacy-related queries, contact us at support@droidly.io.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following information when you use Droidly:
- Account information: Your name and email address when you sign up via email or Google OAuth.
- Payment information: When you subscribe to Droidly Premium, your payment is processed by Razorpay. We store only the Razorpay payment ID and your subscription status — we never see or store your card number, UPI ID, or bank details.
- Usage data: Pages you visit and features you use, to improve the product.
- Communications: If you email us at support@droidly.io, we retain that correspondence.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your Droidly account
- To process and manage your Premium subscription
- To send transactional emails (e.g. payment confirmations, password reset)
- To respond to your support requests
- To improve the platform based on usage patterns
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services which may process your data:
- Supabase — authentication and database. Data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Razorpay — payment processing. Razorpay processes your payment data under their own privacy policy. See Razorpay Privacy Policy.
- Google OAuth — if you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with us. See Google Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g. financial records which we must retain for 7 years under Indian tax law).
6. Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and applicable laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Raise a grievance with us or with the Data Protection Board of India

7. Cookies
Droidly uses session cookies and local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings, though this will sign you out.
8. Children's Privacy
Droidly is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of Droidly after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
