How Droidly answers are checked
Last updated: October 2026
Droidly answers are written for interview preparation. They are not a replacement for official documentation, so every topic links to the official source and every answer has a way to report a mistake.
1. What an answer contains
Each answer gives a plain-language explanation and, where it helps, Kotlin code you can read and adapt. Many include an interview tip showing how to phrase the point in an interview.
2. Verify against official documentation
Android and Kotlin APIs change between releases. Each topic in the Question Bank links to the matching official documentation (Android developer docs, Kotlin docs, Retrofit and OkHttp docs). When an answer touches behaviour that changed in a recent release, check the official page for the version you are targeting.
3. What our labels mean
Labels such as Most Asked, 2025-26 and the Easy / Medium / Hard difficulty are editorial judgements made by Droidly. They are not measured from any company's hiring data, and they are not survey results.
4. Company-specific information
- Droidly questions are not official question lists from any company, and we do not have access to any company's internal interview material.
- We do not state that a specific company asks a specific question unless we can link to a source and show its date.
- In the Readiness Roadmap, the company type you pick (product company, startup, service company) changes how topics are weighted. These weights are Droidly's own judgement, not data from specific companies.
5. Found a mistake?
Every answer in the Question Bank has a Report an issue link that opens an email with the topic and question already filled in. You can also write to support@droidly.io. If you can, include a link to the official documentation that shows the correction. We read every report and correct errors we confirm.
6. Known limits
- Answers describe Android and Kotlin as of when they were written. New releases can change the details.
- Interviewers differ. A good answer in one interview can be framed differently in another.
- Droidly cannot guarantee any interview outcome.
